Yasaka Koshindo Temple
Yasaka Koshindo Temple locates in the Higashiyama area of Kyoto, a popular sightseeing district. The temple was built in 960, and today is known for its cute, colorful ornaments. Though the temple is small, you will find a colorful wonderland after entering through the red entrance gates. The ornaments are called “kukurizaru”, and visitors write their wishes on them and hang them up.
