The "Dockyard Garden" is located on the first floor of the symbolic Yokohama Landmark Tower. A dock is an area meant for trade and ship repair. The Dock Garden was built in hopes to reserve Japan's oldest commercial shipping dock, the "Old Yokoyama Senkyo 2nd Dock". After 100 years since its opening, the historic and cultural value has made the Dock Garden an important cultural property as well as Yokohama City Authorization Landmark Architecture. Today, this area is used for live concerts and other outdoor events.
