Lake Kaminoko

Lake Kaminoko locates in the town of Shari in eastern Hokkaido. It is near Lake Mashu, and is made up from Lake Mashu’s underground waters.
As Lake Mashu’s waters are extremely clear, so are Lake Kaminoko’s. You can see the bottom of the lake through the clear cobalt blue waters. In 2017, the lake was added as a part of the Akan Mashu National Park.
The surrounding area of the lake is a lush green forest. With the beautiful lake and the surrounding forest, the overall area is filled with breathtaking sights.
